LET'S HELP REDUCE YOUR CHANCES OF HAVING TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!
Don't you want more peace of mind to make sure things are working normally in your body such as your heart rhythm, blood pressures, blood sugars, and cholesterol levels.
Even if you do see a doctor once or twice a year, why wait so long in between without having things checked more regularly? Even if you do get checked that once or twice a year, what about the rest of the year when things abnormal findings can be missed?
Why not sign up for our services to check on you every month in your home for free?...
If you sign up for our Membership of 2 or more IV Drips per month or our Weight Loss Program, you'll receive this service for FREE!
You have no more excuses not to get checked!
Our goal is PREVENTION! However, even if you already have been diagnosed with heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, and/or diabetes, we can still help to reduce your chances of having to go to the Emergency Room due to a heart attack/stroke or diabetic complications.
-About 11 million [out of 75 million Americans] don’t know their blood pressure is too high and are not receiving treatment to control it, even though most of these individuals have health insurance and visit a health care provider each year!

Factors that increase risk for heart disease, stroke or diabetes:
- Family history of heart attack, heart disease, hypertension, stroke, diabetes, and/or high cholesterol.
- Advancing age
- High blood pressure
- Overweight/Obesity
- High cholesterol
- Moderate to heavy alcohol use
- Diabetes--can cause higher risk for heart disease and stroke
- Heart failure
- Ischemic heart disease (causes Afib)
- Hyperthyroidism
- Chronic kidney disease
- Stroke/heart attack history
- History of smoking
- Sleep apnea
- Enlargement of the chambers on the left side of the heart
- Lack of physical activity and not eating a healthy diet
Mobile Heart Health Screening Memberships include:
- Assessment of vital signs:
- Assess blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, respiratory rate, and weight (we have a scale if you'd like us to check for you).
- Full assessment:
- Including physical assessment and reviewing medical/surgical history, family history, and medications
- Blood pressure review :
- More in depth evaluation and education of blood pressure numbers throughout the last month, when it’s recommended to seek treatment, and review all medications to see what and if you’re taking them properly.
- Review and Educate Blood Pressure ranges:
- Educate on what blood pressures are normal and when to notify the physician or go to the urgent care/hospital.
- Symptoms Review:
- Review symptoms (if any) to look for that may happen with high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, high or low blood sugars, etc.
- POC tests:
- Blood sugar test every month. Lipid screen and A1C every 6 months.
- Assessment of heart rhythm:
- We use an FDA approved 12-lead EKG once every month to check for atrial fibrillation or arrhythmias you may not realize you have. Atrial fibrillation is a huge risk factor for stroke and needs to be treated, controlled and monitored
(Each EKG can cost an average of $250 at an urgent care or $500-$5000 for uninsured patients)
- Free Validated Bluetooth Blood Pressure Machine ($100 value):
- At the 2nd month of Membership, we will provide you with a free Bluetooth Blood Pressure Machine that saves all our blood pressures automatically to your phone. You'll be able to send us or your physician a full report of your blood pressures for review.
- Free Routine Mobile Lab Draws:
- Only on your scheduled Heart Health Screening, IV Drip or Medical Weight Loss appointment, a skilled Registered Nurse from River Drips Wellness and Recovery can draw and collect labs that are ordered from either client's own physician’s orders, from River Drips’ Practioners’ orders or from patient’s own request. Labs will be drawn and sent for no additional cost.
- 2 Free Telehealth visits per year with an Advanced Practitioner ($150 value):
- Starting after your 2nd month of being a member, we will provide an NP/PA via Telehealth if any concerns come up or a prescription or labs are determined to be needed. (Only offered for free every 6 months--any additional visits will be a $75 charge)
- Mini "Basic Hydration Upgrade" IV Drip
- Includes 1/2 liter of fluid, B12 and B Vitamins.
- Helps boost energy and metabolism as well as reduce stress and improve mental health and cognition
- If the Member is unable to receive the included Mini IV Drip on the same day as the heart health screening, then River Drips will try to reschedule the screening for a different day in order to try to include it, otherwise, the Mini IV Drip will have to be skipped for that month.
- The Mini IV Drip will not roll over to the next month if not used. The Member is not able to gift the Mini IV Drip to somebody else as well.
- Unlimited Access to a Registered Nurse
- If the Member has any concerns and would like the opinion of a Registered Nurse (RN) within his/her scope of practice, the RN can provide goals such as a plan for improvement of symptoms, vital signs, recovery, give a recommendation, answer any questions/concerns within the RN's scope and help be the Member's advocate if needed. The RN is unable to provide a diagnosis so the Member would need to consult with the Member's physician or River Drips Advanced Practitioner if the Member is seeking one. The RN will respond depending on availability.
- If a medical diagnosis is what you are seeking, you can book an appt with our Advanced Practitioner ($75)
- Nurse Advocate and Resource for Medical Guidance
- Instead of having an RN that just advocates for you in the hospital, why not have one that is there to advocate for you outside of the hospital?
- If there are any concerns or questions, we will help guide you in the right direction and will even call to relay any information to your physician if there are any concerns as well. If going to the ER is determined to be the best action, we will call the ER to give them a report before you get there so they know to expect you.
- The RN will respond depending on availability, otherwise, the Member will have access to an RN through text or call that can help give his/her recommendation, answer any questions/concerns, and help be the Member's advocate if needed.
American Heart Association (AHA) recommends screenings for the heart starting at 20 years old and older. However, AFib becomes more common with increasing age and is most common in people over the age of 65 years.
