One of the risks of heart disease and stroke is being overweight/obese and diabetes. 

Our Semaglutide is a compounded medication that has been shown to help with weight loss and to keep weight off in correlation with a healthy diet and exercise routine and it is what we’ll be providing in our Weight Loss Treatment.

We are especially excited to offer this as it will help contribute to our goal of reducing the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, atrial fibrillation along with a few other chronic medical conditions.

It will depend on every client individually, however, many will lose around 5% of their initial body weight. It has shown to be as high as a 10% loss over 12 weeks, for example, having a 10-20lb weight loss for a 200 lb person. Everybody may have different results though.

Semaglutide is a glucagon like peptide (GLP-1) produced by the gut. It reduces appetite and energy intake while delaying gastric emptying. GLP-1 is approved for long-term use. In most cases, patients will cycle on and off the medication as needed to keep weight at best level.

Semaglutide has been a medication that has been initially used to treat those with Diabetes Type 2. It works by increasing the insulin production in your body (the hormone that lowers blood sugar) and decreasing the glucagon produced by the pancreas (the hormone that raises blood sugar).

While this medication does help with weight reduction and Diabetes control, it also benefits in other ways as well in correlation with the weight loss itself:

The Semaglutide that we provide is a compounded generic medication with Vitamin B12 and isn’t associated with other brand name medications that are offered.

Qualifications:

• Adults with BMI >29
• Adults with BMI>25 in the presence of one weight related comorbidity, such as hypertension, diabetes, failed dieting, hypothyroidism, dyslipidemia

1. Fill out the consent and your medical history

2. Receive a Telehealth consult over the phone with an Advanced Practitioner to determine the best treatment for you.

3. The medication will be ordered and sent directly to your home. If you need help in how to inject the medication, we can discuss over the phone, provide a video, or even meet in person if you feel more comfortable doing that.

4. One of our Registered Nurses will be following up once a month during your monthly Membership visit (either your IV Drip or Heart Health Memberships); We love to hear the success stories along your journey!

For those that have the following conditions, unfortunately, will not be able to participate in this particular program due to higher risk:

• Personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC)
• Personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, type 2 (MEN2) • Prior allergic reaction to Semaglutide or any of its ingredients
• Diabetic retinopathy (diabetic eye disease)
• Pregnant or trying to become pregnant/Breastfeeding
• Less than 18 years old
• Depression with a history of suicidal thoughts
• History of Pancreatitis
